Summer with children: Rittisberg and the Coaster
The Rittisberg lift is 4.6 km from the house (around 9 min by car). Families can take it towards the “I love Rittisberg” mountain playground or explore the fairy-tale trail with listening and hands-on stations. The Flyline and woodland ropes course are other summer activities.
The Rittisberg Coaster is 4.7 km away. Children aged three and over may ride with an accompanying person; to ride alone they must be at least eight years old and 1.35 m tall. Check the operator's current conditions before travelling.
Swimming with children: Ramsau Beach and Dachstein Bad
Ramsau Beach is 4.5 km away (around 9 min by car). The swimming lake has lawns, a playground, a diving platform and beach volleyball courts. Entry is included with the 2026 Schladming-Dachstein Card during the lake's operating season.
On wet or cooler days, Dachstein Bad in Ramsau is an indoor alternative, 5.1 km from the apartments (around 9 min). It has a children's pool with slides, a leisure pool and a sports pool. The Card covers up to three hours in the pools, but not the sauna.

The Rittisberg family ski area is 4.6 km away (around 9 min by car). Kaliland, the Zauberlift, Bergkristalllift and Drachenlifte have practice areas and children's slopes. The Ramsau ski school offers lessons in Kaliland from age three.
Ski schools also arrange lessons and equipment hire. Ask the school directly about age groups, meeting points, available places and dates; pistes and lifts operate only when conditions permit.

Tobogganing and cross-country skiing with children
The Rittisberg has a floodlit night toboggan run. The lift can carry your sledge up the mountain, and sledges are available to hire for a fee. Check whether the run is operating before setting out.
In winter, the cross-country trail passes about 30 m from the front entrance. The Vorberg trail is 580 m away, about 8 min on foot. Children under 15 use Ramsau's trails free of charge; older children and adults need a valid trail pass.
