Privacy policy

When you open a page, the web server processes your IP address, date and time, the address requested, referrer, browser and operating system details and the status code. The purpose is to deliver the website securely; it cannot be displayed without this data. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is deleted after seven days.

If you write to us, we process your details to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries about a stay, otherwise point (f)). We delete them once they are no longer needed; business correspondence subject to retention after the statutory period of generally seven years (section 212 Business Code, section 132 Federal Fiscal Code).

Website and e-mail are operated on our behalf by bennows (Benedikt Auer, Lindengasse 19, 3383 Hürm, Austria) on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany (Art. 28 GDPR).

We use Umami to compile statistics from the server log files: pages visited, referring page, browser, operating system, device type, country, region and city, and clicks on the booking links. No script runs in your browser and no cookies are set. Umami runs on the same server; your IP address is used there only to determine country, region and city and a monthly changing identifier and is not stored. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is deleted after 24 months.
